Ronne Ostby, MA Director
Ronne Ostby, MA, is an experienced social marketing and health communication professional with nearly 25 years of experience applying communication and marketing principles to public health awareness campaigns. Ms. Ostby’s substantive knowledge and experience cover various nationwide health concerns, including substance use and drug poisonings, suicide and youth violence prevention, the spread of infectious diseases and immunization to prevent them, and the over-prescription of antibiotics. She has worked with a range of public and private clients, including the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, National Institutes of Health, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Currently, Ms. Ostby is Chief Strategy Officer at Fors Marsh Group (FMG), a research-based consultancy. Before joining FMG, she led social marketing strategy design, formative audience-based research, program planning, and integrated communication efforts at several firms supporting large federal initiatives, including CDC’s Rx Awareness effort and the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign.
