Community Paramedicine to Help People Who Use Substances: Overview and Recommendations

Community paramedicine programs are an extension of emergency medical services (EMS) that provide an opportunity to cover gaps in health care services within communities.1

In partnership with the Center for U.S. Policy, Community Impact NC has created Community Paramedicine to Help People Who Use Substances: Overview and Recommendations.

This resource looks at the details of implementing successful community paramedicine programs to support people who use substances.
