The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recently revealed that, in collaboration with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA), the FBI surveils the personal lives of American citizens without a warrant.

The revelation comes after the FBI recently published its “Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide” online for public access. The 906-page handbook confirms that the agency’s probes, known as “assessments,” may be conducted without warrants, against citizens not accused of crimes. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and House Judiciary Committee are investigating how these agencies target Americans, and the FBI’s relationship with the CIA and SNA are expected to undergo intense scrutiny.
